The equipment in brief

Flour cakes in the silo and bridges over the outlet — the silo still shows a stock, but nothing reaches the mixer. The vibrating bottom removes exactly that: it discharges the flour from the silo evenly and prevents the outlet from blocking.

Key advantages

No bridge forms

The flour falls through the annular gap between the cone and the hopper — the outlet does not block.

The dust stays inside

An elastic sealing sleeve closes the joint and still lets the bottom vibrate freely.

The vibration does not reach the silo

The suspension on damping mounts separates the bottom from the body: only what should shake, shakes.

It mates with the hopper you have

Dimension A is given for four cone angles — the bottom is matched to the silo already standing on site.

An even flow, not surges

A steady flow means the doser downstream works steadily too.

Eight sizes instead of two

From FV400 to FV2500: nobody has to take an oversized bottom because a smaller one is not made.

Who this equipment is for

A vibrating bottom is wanted where the flour has already caused trouble:

How it works

  1. Flour leaves the siloIt enters the receiving hopper 1.
  2. The cone forms a gapThe cone of the vibrating bottom 2 enters the hopper, leaving an annular gap.
  3. The bottom vibratesMotovibrator 6 shakes the bottom; suspension 3 damps the vibration at the body.
  4. Flour falls throughThrough the annular gap into the discharge hopper 5.
  5. Discharge onwardThrough the outlet spout 4 the flour goes on to be conveyed.

How it works

Flour from the silo enters the receiving hopper 1, into which the cone of the vibrating bottom 2 projects, forming an annular gap. The vibrating bottom and the receiving hopper are joined by tie rods 3 on vibration-damping mounts, with an elastic sealing sleeve — it keeps the dust in while still letting the bottom vibrate freely.

As the bottom and its cone vibrate, flour falls through the annular gap into the discharge hopper 5 and leaves through the outlet spout 4 for further conveying. The vibration is produced by the motovibrator 6.

Dimension A is given for four silo cone angles — it determines how the bottom mates with the hopper you already have.

Not sure which configuration you need?

To select the size we need to know:

  • the diameter of the silo outlet;
  • the cone angle of the silo;
  • the discharge rate required;
  • whether this is a new silo or a replacement bottom.

Our engineer will propose the right configuration and prepare a quotation.
